Strengths

The concession area is the world's largest copper producing region, and the supply requirements of the region’s mining companies can be covered as unregulated business. Customers include Mantos Blancos, Spence, Rayrock, SQM and Sierra Miranda.

The existing water rights can be augmented through use of the expansion potential of the desalinisation plant, which would allow conventional production to be redirected towards sales for unregulated business.
