Strengths

Michilla's experienced management team have successfully extended the life of the mine through to 2012 by utilising the remnant reserves of the Lince open pit as well as purchasing ore from third parties. Studies are currently underway to examine the potential to extend the life of the operation to 2018.

Additionally, the company has developed and patented a process called "Cuprochlor" to leach sulphides, making it less costly and more efficient than the traditional flotation method.
